You can find anything on the internet these days. For example, if you lived in Texas and needed an attorney who specialises in workplace injuries, you could search google for Texas Workplace Injury Attorney and a whole list of attorneys will appear. What's more, on the internet, you can find out anything you want about the company or product you are looking at. There are independent review sites, personal opinions, blogs, etc. that you can search to find information on anything. In this age of information, we no longer have to settle for anything because we have the freedom of choice.
Sometimes I wonder whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. It's great when you're the customer because you can choose what suits you best. But if you're the supplier, retailer, or company, it's a tough fight to get customers who can also behave like spoilt brats because they have the power to choose. On the flip side, it means better service and better products which is also a good thing.
At the end of the day, I suppose it depends on how you want to look at it. Anything can be a good or a bad thing, or a good or a bad opportunity depending on whether your glass is half empty or half full. Or, as it has been written by Shakespeare - there is nothing good or bad, thinking makes it so. A wonderful lesson to teach our children for the life ahead of them.
