A Laptop or a Desktop?

I've been thinking about getting a new computer system ever since my old desktop suffered a BSOD. Should I go with mobility or get another desktop? The thing I have come to enjoy about a desktop is the fact that it is cheaper and you can get so many other add-ons. For example, my old desktop had logitech speakers and a 19 inch monitor and I could watch movies at night while the boys were asleep.

The biggest down side about the desktop has been lack of mobility. That meant that if I was working on the computer, I had to have the boys playing upstairs in the bedroom with me so I could keep half an eye on them. If I had a laptop, I could bring it downstairs where they could do more things instead of being cooped up in the room while I worked.

So what did I get in the end? The laptop. Mobility has won the day.
