I Love Portable Heaters

I don't like the cold. I don't like winter either. But I do like snow or, more specifically, I like skiing. I know - what a paradox. The only thing that got me through winter was my portable heater. I like portable heaters because it conserved more energy. Instead of having to warm the whole house up to the required temperature I needed to be comfortable, I could just use the portable heater to warm up my own space.

These days, if you have kids, you have to be careful about the type of portable heater you get. Some heaters can become hot to touch while in operation which makes it dangerous to have around when you have children. Something like an infrared heater with the "safe to touch for children and pets" feature is a good heater to have around. It allows you to heat up specific areas of the house so you don't waste energy.
